Regularly we have been conducting free eye checkup camps in nearby towns for prevention of eye diseases. RJCF is premier in doing Screening Camps in this region. Our Trust is associated with various NGO’s voluntary organizations to screen out the patients. Since last few years, the numbers of patients are increasing. To synchronize with this momentum, we have a dedicated team to serve. The team consists of experienced Ophthalmologist, Optometrists, Management who are expert in their respectively fields and are dedicated to serve the society.
The Trust is also regular in doing social events, CMEs (Continuous Medical Education Program), etc. to minimize the risk factors which are occurring regularly related to eye diseases. Our Trust also has an Eye Bank in the name of “Swami Vidyanand Bharti”, with the purpose of providing vision to the poor.
Till now RJCF has done more than 67,500 Free OPDs, more than 7000 free of Cost Surgeries. To compliment this level of expertise we have long list of equipments that have been installed at RJCF for the use of Diagnostic and Ophthalmic surgeries. We have state of the art 3 Operation Theatres which have been installed with latest surgical equipments which a fully fledged eye hospital should have.
By the courtesy of State Bank of India, Gwalior, we have also started operating a state of the art Mobile Clinic Van fitted with Auto Refractometer, Slit Lamp, Retinoscope, Trial & chair set, Indirect etc. for those people who can’t reach to the hospital for their checkup. With the help of this van we have started screening camps in various places in and around Gwalior, through which we have successfully helped many patients to save their eye sight.
RJCF usually undertakes Diabetic and Glaucoma screening thru these types of camps on regular basis so as to educate people that what type of disease they are going through, its harms & medications and thus can save a sight in time.
Dr. Purendra Bhasin and his team has been doing Charitable OPDs and surgeries since he started his career in a small clinic in the year 1996 and since then there was no looking back. Today, RJCF is the outcome of that Passion for helping and serving community for the well being and above all giving sight to the required ones.
RJCF recently conducted Diabetic Retinopathy Screening Camp to diagnose patients with diabetes. During this camp more than 800 patients were diagnosed. RJCF is trying to reach maximum number of patients to facilitate them the best treatment.
